Fellow New Yorker Adair Countian lauds fellow ex-pat Diane R Wallace writes: I just have to say, Ms. Greenough is one very brave gal! When I first heard about this incident, I was so thankful she was not harmed and glad she is conducting business as usual. As I read the entire news clip I was very surprised to learn that Homer, NY is her hometown. I was born and raised in that same area code, next door in Dryden, NY. In the 26 years I have lived in Kentucky, it is rare to find anyone who has even BEEN in or HEARD of Upstate New York, let alone originate from there. I still have friends and family in Homer, it would be nice to find out if we know any of the same people and places. - Diane R WallaceComments re photo 53410 Phyllis Greenough Robbed at gunpoint but still at work This story was posted on 2014-02-04 16:55:21
