Lela A. Vetter, 77, of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

There will be committal services for Lela A. Vetter held at 2pmCT, Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY with burial in the Hodges Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Brantley will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 12pmCT/1pmET-2pmCT/3pmET, Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. Pallbearers: John Frank, Harold Hudgins, William Taylor, Sr., Greg Price, Walt Parrott, Jr., Joe Tommy Hodges, Chris Vetter, Darrell Tindle, and James Reichardt.

Lela A. Vetter of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late William L. Price and Nannor Lela Henderson Price, was born on Sunday, May 31, 1936 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY. She was 77 years, 7 months, and 29 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Hodges Chapel United Methodist Church and attended the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was also a former caretaker and homemaker.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Steven Wayne Vetter of Georgia and Kendall Lee Vetter of Greensburg, KY

  • A grandson: Chris Vetter of Greensburg, KY

  • A brother: David E. Price of Florida

  • Special friends: Janet Coffey of Greensburg, KY; and Paula Foster of Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Ms. Vetter was also preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy W. Vetter; and two brothers, William P. Price and Thomas W. Price.
