Traffic: Semi crash on Western KY Parkway creates EB delays (From Chris Jessie at 9:45amCT, Thursday, January 30, 2014) - A mid-morning tractor trailer crash may cause delays for eastbound motorists traveling on the Wendell H. Ford Western Kentucky Parkway in Grayson County near Mile Point 100. The westbound semi crossed the median and struck a rock wall on the eastbound side. Though the semi did not come to rest in any travel lanes, eastbound closure will be required to remove the vehicle from the eastbound shoulder and right of way. Eastbound motorists should exit the parkway at Exit 94 (Caneyville) and take US 62 east to Leitchfield and rejoin the parkway at the 107 interchange. Cleanup is expected to take two to four hours, depending on the structural stability of the trailer, Chris Jessie, Public Information Officer, Kentucky Highway Department District 4, Elizabethtown.
