Expresses often overlooked values inherent in this Community

Comments re article 64826 A response to Jarrett Miller criticism of local people

By Jon Halsey

Even tho' I am a carper, niggler, and hypercritic of the first order, I agree with Mr. Troutwine completely.

Sometimes it takes those of us "from off" to express the often overlooked values inherent in this Community but more especially the danger of losing what would never be recovered if we abandon the principles that make us who we are.

There are many of us who have fled our beloved homelands because the leaders of those communities forgot who they were.

Mr. Troutwine sounds like a person who speaks from experience. In my estimation, experience always trumps emotion.

- Jon Halsey, Knifley
