Jarrett Miller says community should open its mind

'The problem is that many people have never seen the world outside this little community and have developed the idea that Columbia is the best at doing everything. If they would open their minds to new ideas and study how other communities do things, the possibilities would be endless.' - JARRETT MIller

Personal opinions of the writer

Everyone wanted to criticize me for implying that the road crews don't do a that good of a job. But, just look at the front page of Columbia Magazine this morning. Photos of roads not cleared, roads closed, State Police calling for help spotting stranded motorist. Sure, the state road crews are doing a great job. (Sarcasm Intended) The problem is that many people have never seen the world outside this little community and have developed the idea that Columbia is the best at doing everything. If they would open their minds to new ideas and study how other communities do things, the possibilities would be endless. --Jarrett Miller
