Jean Wright age 74 of Indianapolis, IN formerly of Burkesville, KY passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Friendship Healthcare in Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 2pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Bow Schoolhouse Cemetery. The family requests visitation on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 10amCT until the service time at 2pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.


Jean Wright, 74, Cumberland Co., KY (1938-2014)

Jean Wright was born on Saturday, December 03, 1938 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late John and Clara Riddle Wray. She died Friday, January 17, 2014, in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana at the age of 74 years, 1 month, and 14 days.

She was a former employee of Diamond Chain Company and had attended Southside Fellowship in Indianapolis.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Freddie Wright and Scott Wright, and four siblings, Beulah Murphy, Eula Garner, Leslie Wray, and Tena Day. Survivors include:
  • One son: Terry Wright of Indianapolis, IN

  • Three daughters: Teresa Pease, Letitia Grubb, and Kelli Holsclaw all of Indianapolis, IN

  • One sister- Linda Flowers of Jeffersonville, IN

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Sixteen great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
