William O. Hall passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, He was 76.

Funeral services are 12pmCT/1pmET, Monday, January 20, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 756 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Linville Hatter officiating. Burial is in Poplar Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the funeral home.



William O. Hall, Casey County, KY (1937-2014)

Born Saturday, May 1, 1937 in Pulaski County, KY. He was the son of the late Taylor and Gracie Thompson Hall. He died Friday, January 17, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 8 months, and 16 days.

He retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation and was a member of Rich Hill Christian Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter: Marlene Pruitt of Liberty, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Jessica and Tyler Baker, Sabrina McGowan and Stephen Henson; and one great-grandchild, Hayden Henson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Illa Marie Buis Hall, who passed away July 1, 1992; a son, Delmar Taylor Hall; and brothers, Donald, John, Alford, Charles, Killis, Howard, and Carson Hall; and a half-brothers, Cecil Smiley and Arthur and Ernest Hall.
