Cuthburt Eldon Fox, 79, of Russell Springs, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. Funeral service for Cuthburt Eldon Fox will be 10amCT. Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel,367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Kenny Dale Kimbler officiating. Friends may call after 10amCT, Monday. Burial in the Square Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jr. Fox, Cody Fox, Travis McGowan, Billy Fox, Bobby Flanagan, and Andrew Wilson.

He was born Monday, September 24, 1934, in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Elzie & Clutha Popplewell Fox. He died Thursday, January 16, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 79 years, 3 months, and 22 days.

He was a farmer and a member of th Ono Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Audeen Fox; four sisters and one brother. Survivors include the following:
  • Four children: Cathy (Lloyd) Coffey, Jamestown, KY; Roy (Kathy) Fox, Russell Springs, KY; Tim Fox, Jamestown, KY; Penny (Gordon) Lester, Russell Springs, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Golda Daniel, Russell Springs, KY; and Gala Falls, Chicago, IL
