Report: Adair Angel Tree project provided Christmas gifts to 300 By Paula Garrison News from the Adair County Salvation Army Service Unit Because of the kindness and generous support of Adair County, the Salvation Army of Adair County was able to provide Christmas gifts to 300 Adair County children through the Angel Tree Program. The need in our community is great and we are so blessed to have individuals, Churches, businesses, and groups that respond to that need with Christian love and compassion. Appreciation is due to each person who purchased gifts and/or made donations, as well as to all who sorted and distributed gifts or who assisted in other ways to make a child's Christmas more joyful. We invite any interested person to join our local service unit. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 9amCT, in the basement of the Adair County Courthouse Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. Sincerely, Paula Garrison For the The Salvation Army Service Unit, Angel Tree Program This story was posted on 2014-01-16 10:26:38
