No School in Adair County, KY, Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 By Superintendent Alan W. Reed Schools will remain closed in Adair County tomorrow, Friday, January 3, 2014. This morning's precipitation is now freezing on parking lots, roadways and vehicles presenting both a fall and driving hazard. With wind chill values factored in we expected a pretty miserable morning tomorrow for our students, parents, and employees. With more arctic air spilling in over the weekend into next week I would also like to remind parents to make sure their children are properly clothed at the bus stop with appropriate head-gear or ear muffs, layered clothing, and gloves. We miss our students and hope to see them next week! - Aan W. Reed, Superintendent, Adair County School District This story was posted on 2014-01-02 13:22:20
