Districts - are back in session at regular times on Thursday, January 2, 2014, and parents are reminded to dress their children in very warm clothes for the approaching cold front. (Metcalfe Co. is not back in session until Monday, January 6, 2013) Talking with two area Superintendents, Michael Ford of Russell County, and Alan Reed of Adair, Shorelines Communications has learned that school officials are monitoring the weather very closely.
