Nicols COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson men's basketball hosts National Christian College Athletic Association Tennessee Temple University on Monday, December 30, 2013, at 7pmCT at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. Lindsey Wilson (8-5) is on a three-game winning streak after capturing head coach Paul Peck's 500th career victory in a 108-52 win over West Virginia Tech on December 20. The Blue Raiders Anthony Crenshaw had a career-high 24 points while Keshaun Mayfield had a team-high 11 rebounds in the win. The Blue Raiders have three players averaging double-digit scoring this season led by Tony Horne who averages 14.8 points per game. D'on Hall and Daronte' Clark average 12.1 and 11.6 points per game respectively. Hall leads the team in steals with 17 while Mayfield has a team-high 44 assists. Lindsey Wilson is limiting its opponents to 70.0 points per game while scoring 80.4. The Blue Raiders are shooting 48.1 percent from the field and 31.9 percent from beyond the arc. The Lindsey Wilson defense ranks 19th in field goal percentage defense (.402) and 25th in total rebound defense (32.85). Tennessee Temple (7-6), 1-3 in their last four games, beat Mid-Continent (KY) University 68-62 on Dec. 14. The Crusaders lost to NCAA Division I Middle Tennessee State University (102-54) on December 17, 2014; Spring Hill (AL) College (81-76) on December 19, 2013, and University of Mobile (AL) (81-65) on December 20. The Crusaders are shooting 43.0 percent from the field and average 36.2 percent from the three-point line, averaging 73.1 points per game. The Tennessee Temple defense allows 73.5 points per game while its opponents shoot 45.8 percent from the field. Elliot Johnson leads all Crusaders with 15.4 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game. Jarrett Smith is second on the team in scoring, averaging 10.9 points per game. Smith has a team-high 83 rebounds, 69 assists and 15 steals on the season.
