12 Days of Christmas at Adair County High School 72 students receive gifts during the first ever 12 Days of Christmas at Adair County High School Click on headline for story with photo(s) with list of winners By Shamarie Claiborne This was the first ever 12 days before the Christmas Holiday at Adair County High School. The idea was simple for the 12 days before break students names would be randomly drawn to receive a small Christmas gift. Two staff member who wish to remain anonymous worked diligently to collect items from local business and individuals to provide the first ever 12 Days of Christmas. There where cash items, small toys such as a hand-held etch-a-sketch, meals from restaurants, and other small items just to make the students smile. Over all 72 students received items during the 12 day event. Hopefully, next year it will be even bigger. Students and staff truly enjoyed it and looked forward to the drawing each day.
