Adair Co. Public Library Hours announced effective Jan. 1, 2014

Beginning January 2nd, 2014, the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, will be open the following hours:

Monday through Wednesday - 8am-5pmCT
Thursday - 9am-6pmCT
Friday - 8am-5pmCT
Saturday 8am-12pm noon CT

The library had been experimenting with later hours on Thursdays since July 2013. After examining the number of patrons for specific time periods, the Board made the decision at the December board meeting to establish the hours listed above. These hours will be in effect for a period of five years. At the end of that five year period, the Board will investigate if hours need to be adjusted to accommodate patrons.
