Bonner program donates 52 coats to AC Headstart students Click on headline for item with photo(s) By Duane Bonifer Members of the Lindsey Wilson College community made sure that more than four dozen area children will be dressed warmly for the coming winter. Members of the LWC Bonner Scholars Program delivered 52 winter coats Tuesday to Adair County Head Start. The coats were given to the program's students. The LWC program raised more than $1,200 from the campus and Columbia-Adair County, which was used to purchased most of the coasts, and it also received several donated coats from area individuals and businesses. The project was organized by LWC Bonner Scholar Brooke Harmon of Columbia. Delivering the coats to the sudents were Natalie Vickous, graduate assistant; LWC Director of Career Services Ashley Miller; Harmon; Adair County Head Start Director Gina Harmon; Bonner Scholar Co-Director Amy Thompson-Wells; Bonner Scholar Coordinator Cherise Mingus.
