Rhoda Lynn Kimbler, 56, Adair County, KY (1957-2013)

She was a native of Orange, Texas and a resident of Columbia, KY, at the time of her death. Her husband, Earl Kimbler, survives. She leaves 16 direct and two step living descendants. She was a registered nurse at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and Russell County Hospital, was a member of the Nursing Association and had made a profession of the Baptist faith.

Rhoda Lynn Kimbler, 56, of Columbia, KY, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 4:20pmCT at her residence.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 10amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Coy Cox officiating. Burial will be in Russell Springs City Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation after 5:30pmCT Tuesday, December 17, 2013.

Rhoda Lynn Kimbler, 56, Adair County, KY (1957-2013)

She was born Thursday, July 4, 1957, in Orange, Orange County, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Dorman & Bonnie Phelps Cain. She died Sunday, December 15, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 56 years, 5 months, and 11 days.

She was a registered nurse at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and Russell County Hospital, was a member of the Nursing Association and had made a profession of the Baptist faith.

Survivors Include:
  • Her husband: Earl Kimbler of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons : Allen Davidson & wife Janie of Columbia, KY; and< Corey Davidson & fiancee' Jeanie Chumbley of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Michelle (Aaron) Petrey of Indianapolis, IN

  • Two step-children: Benji & Crystal Kimbler

  • One brother: Bruce Cain of Somerset, KY

  • One sister: Tteresa (Jeff) Kimbler of Russell Springs, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Several nieces and nephews
