ACMS A-Team earns 2nd in Quick Recall in Showcase Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Mary Ann McQuaide Governor's Cup On Monday evening December 9, 2013 and Wednesday evening December 11, 2013, the Adair County Middle School 6th grade (as well as Green, Metcalfe, Campbellsville, Russell, and Cumberland Counties) participated in Governor Cup 6th Grade Showcase. Due to inclimate weather the meet was re-scheduled for Monday/Wednesday evenings. After long evenings on Monday and Wednesday, ACMS 6th grade academic team achieved 2nd place in Quick Recall. Maddie Harmon achieved 6th place in Arts and Humanities. Ty Cheatham achieved 3rd place in Social Studies and 4th place in Arts and Humanities. The team over-all came away with a 4th place finish. Members of the team: Ty Cheatham, Katelyn Croghan, Kiley Feese, Alex Godsey, Samuel Gutelius, Maddie Harmon, Dylan Mann, Trenton Popplewell, Hallie Sandusky, Travis Tucker.
