Justine (Teen) Stapp, Russell Co., KY (1933-2013)

She was a native of Russell County, KY, the daughter of the late Bascom & Nellie Lou Bailey Williams. She is survived by her husband, Charles Lynn Stapp. She leaves many relatives in Adair and Russell Counties and elsewhere and leaves 16 direct living descendants. She was a former cook in the Russell County Schools, a homemaker, and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.

Justine "Teen" Stapp, 80, of Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia, KY.

Funeral service for Justine "Teen" Stapp will be at 2pmCT Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Daniel Keaton officiating. Friends may call after 10amCT, Sunday. Burial will be in the Providence Church Cemetery. Special Music will be by Diane Hughes and Steve Stapp.



Active Pallbearers: Stuart Foley, Brandon Nokes, Steven Hadley, Jackie West, Steven Grider, and Jacob Hatcher.

Honorary Pallbearer: Shad Giles.

She was born November 6, 1933 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Bascum & Nellie Lou Bailey Williams. She died December 12, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 80 years, 1 month, and 6 days.

She was a former cook in the Russell County Schools, a homemaker, and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles "Bootsie" Williams and Bascum Williams, Jr.

She is survived by her husband: Charles Lynn Stapp, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Sandra (Harry) Foley, Columbia, KY; Jodie (Jr.) Giles, Columbia, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Leslie (Brandon) Nokes, Stuart Foley & Becca, Jill Arbuckle, and Shad (Tabitha) Giles

  • Ten great grandchildren

  • Three sisters: Esther (Dean) Hadley, Russell Springs, KY; Mault Jean (Getha) West, Russell Springs, KY; Lena Mae (Harry) Riley, Louisville, KY

  • One brother: Curtis Williams, Michigan
