He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He was a former mechanic for Fruit of the Loom, Inc., and maintenance for Golden Living Center-Green Hill. He was also a former veteran in the Army National Guard.

Mr. Bradley Burris of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Raymond Burris and Lovetta Kemp Burris, was born on Monday, December 30, 1946 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was 66 years, 11 months, and 10 days of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Bradley Burris will be conducted at 12 Noon CT, Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 31 Buford Dial Road, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY, Bro. Jason Shirrell, Bro. Keith Clements, Bro. Bill Pfoff, Bro. Meryl Young, Bro. Jeff Eastham, Bro. Roger Robertson, and Bro. Steve James will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-80mCT Thursday, December 12, 2013, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 296 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, and 6an-8pmCT, Friday, at the funeral home, and after 9amCT, Friday at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church until time of the funeral service.

Mr. Bradley Burris of Greensburg, Kentucky, was the son of the late Raymond Burris and Lovetta Kemp Burris. He was born on December 30, 1946 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, Jefferson County, KY He was 66 years, 11 months, and 10 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He was a former mechanic for Fruit of the Loom, Inc., and maintenance for Golden Living Center-Green Hill. He was also a former veteran in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jerlene Vaughn Burris of Greensburg, having united in marriage on June 12, 1970.

Other survivors include the following:
  • A daughter and son-in-law: Amanda and Dave Black of Greenwood, Indiana

  • A sister: Reba Rogers of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ricky J. and Janice Burris, and Justin P. and Pam Burris all of Columbia, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and many friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Gilead Building Fund, which can be made at the funeral home. Send a condolence to the family of Mr. Bradley Burris
