Indians lose 1st game at Lebanon, KY

The Adair County Indians suffered their first loss of the season 70-63 to a Fifth Region power, Marion County last night, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Lebanon, KY.



The Indians led 14-11 after the first period. Adair led 20-14 early in the 2nd period before the Knights went on a 18-5 run to go up 32-25. A Ty Bennett three pointer at the buzzer made the score 32-28, Knights.

In the second half the Knigts kept their single digit lead throughout as the Tribe pulled to within four points on three occasions but could get no closer.

Marion led 48-42 after three periods. The Indians were led by Bennett and Chance Melton with 15 points a piece. Rounding out the scoring were Zach Hutchison 11, Matt Fudge 9, Jacob Pooler 7, Marshall 3, and Jake Hixson 3. Melton led the Indians with eight rebounds.
