Chunk of Green River Bridge missing By Larry Smith, 99.9 The Big Dawg; 92.7 The WAVE A driver lost control of a vehicle on the Green River Bridge below the Green River Dam, hit the railing, and caused a chunk of the concrete structure to fall into the stream below, according to the Taylor County Sheriff's office, which investigated the non-injury accident. The incident occurred yeserday, Monday, December 09, 2013. Traffic cones have been positioned around the site; however, there are no reports of any damage which might indicate that the bridge is unsafe. Traffic is flowing smoothly this morning.
