First Snow Day decision came after roads get sampling drives

2013-12-10 - Breeding Loop, Breeding, KY - Photo by David Jones, Adair County School District.
Attention to Details Transportation Director David Jones' job starts early when snow or ice is a likelihood. Mr. Jones and I are usually up late and we get up early on days like this. It's the personal attention to detail that earns the Adair County Transportation Department top awards in the state. This photo was snapped by Jones through his truck windshield shortly before 4:00 a.m. this morning on Breeding Loop Road. The welcoming farm security light in the distance is at the home of Stephen and Patty Reliford. Alan W. Reed, Superintendent, Adair County Schools, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY
