Early morning vehicle pursuit results in arrest of Adair man Driver faces multiple charges after fleeing Jamestown Street to Glensfork By Ofc. Josh Brockman, Public Information Officer Columbia Police Department. Chief, Jason Cross On Sunday morning, December 8, 2013, 12:25amCT, Columbia Police Officer Josh Brockman observed a 1993 Dodge travelling south on Jamestown street with no tail lamps. A traffic stop was initiated but the driver failed to yield and accelerated continuing south on KY 55. Officers were able to get the vehicle stopped in the Glensfork community of Adair County where the driver was took into custody without incident. Charged was 23 year old Brandon Greer of Columbia, KY, on charges of No Tail Lamps, Fleeing and Evading Police 1st Degree, Operating on a DUI Suspended License, and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol 2nd offense Aggravated Circumstances. Greer was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by CPD Ofc. Josh Brockman who was assisted by Ofc. Charles Greer and Deputy Aaron Rainwater of the Adair County Sheriff's Office. - Ofc.
