Drivers ignore posted 35 mph on Liberty Road/Fairground Street Wayne armitage writes: The speed limit on 206 is 35 mph. When you come into town and cross Russell Creek from the top of the hill to Green Hills Road, there are signs posted at the top of the hill before Russell Creek that say 35, yet drivers come down the hill at 55 or 60 mph. If the city Police or Sheriff's department would start running radar on that stretch of road it would slow down traffic. It would cut down on any accidents at 206 and Green Hills Road. If Drivers would learn to stop and look at STOP SIGNS it would help. - Wayne ArmitageComments re article 63784 Says 25 mph limit for Fairground Street unreasonable This story was posted on 2013-12-06 18:02:04
