C-ville PD, Taylor Sheriff's office makes arrest charging rape Accused released on a $5,000 bond. The charge, rape in the third degree, is a a Class D felony From Anne Sanders, Campbellsville 911 The Campbellsville Police Department and Taylor County Sheriff's Department have been investigating a suspected rape that occurred in July 2013. The investigation was initiated on November 16, 2013 and led to the arrest of Jeffery Watson (7/23/72) of 337 Puryear Road on Monday, December 2, 2013. Watson was arrested for Rape 3rd Degree on a Taylor District Warrant and was released on a $5000 bond. The incident was investigated by Ben Riggs (Campbellsville PD) and Brian Pickard (TCSO).
