Campbellsville PD investigates 2 vehicle injury accident

Pickup, tractor trailer collide at KY 210/KY 3212

Police report from Campbellsville Police Department

At 7:14amET, Tuesday December 3, 2013, The Campbellsville Police Department received a report of a traffic collision on KY 210 at the intersection of KY 3212 (Old Pitman Creek Road) with possible injuries, Officers Ryan Jewell and Nelson Bishop responded and conducted an investigation.



A tractor trailer driven by Charles J. Conley; w/m; age 52; Guston, KY was traveling east on KY 210 and was attempting to turn left onto KY 3212. A pickup truck operated by Allen J. Reckelhoff; w/m age 46; from Indiana was also traveling east on KY 210 following the semi-tractor-trailer. The investigation reveals that the pickup truck was unable to stop as the semi-tractor-trailer was turning and struck the trailer. Both vehicles came to rest in the east lane of KY 210. Neither driver required treatment at the scene. Reckelhoff did receive scratches to his hand.

The collision remains under investigation by Campbellsville Police.
