The Adair County Indians won their season opener 63-46 over Cumberland County. The Indians raced out to leads of 17-9, 33-18, and 55-30 after the first three periods before settling on the 63-46 win.



The Indians had three players in double figures, Matt Fudge 21, Zach Hutchison 14, and Chance Melton 11.

Fudge connected on 7 of 11 from the field and 6 of 9 from the three point line. Hutchison was 6 for 12 and Melton was 5 for 8 from the floor. Rounding out the scoring were Ty Bennett 6, Marshall Shelley 4, Jake Hixson 2, Jacob Pooler 2, Corey Melton 2, and Will Myers 1. Pooler pulled down 8 rebounds and Chance Melton dished out 5 assists.
