Norma Harvey, 73, of Columbia, KY, died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 3:55amCT, at the Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY.

Graveside service, with burial to follow, will be Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at the Dutch Creek Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY with Bro. Jimmie Cox officiating. There will be no visitation.

Casket Bearers: Danny Harvey, Steve Harvey, Billy Scott, David Coomer, Jimmie Cox, and Eric Coomer.

She was born Monday, September 9, 1940, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Hubert & Lourinda Jane Baxter Cahill. She died Thursday, November 28, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 73 years, 2 months, and 19 days.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Eddie, Robert, Randall and Henry Cahill, and a granddaughter, Joy Staser.

Survivors include the following:
  • Her husband: Edward Harvey of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Sally Jane (Dennis) Grant of Columbia, KY

  • One granddaughter and two great-grandchildren: Kim Bartley, Cody and Alex McDonald
