Men's Basketball: LWC College Classic here Nov. 29-30, 2013 All games at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard DR, Columbia, KY Game 1: St. Catharine College vs. Robert Morris U at 6pmCT, Friday, November 29, 2013 By Chris Wells, Sports Information Director, LWC COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College men's basketball team hosts the Lindsey Wilson College Classic with four teams participating in four games in two days. No. 10 Lindsey Wilson (4-3, 0-2 MSC) enters their first game coming off 75-72 loss to conference opponent Rio Grande (OH) on November 23. The Blue Raiders also fell to Shawnee State University on November 21 63-54. Lindsey Wilson is led by Tony Horne who is averaging 17.4 points per game followed by Daronte' Clark with 12.7. Horne is also tied for the team lead in rebounds per game at 6.1 with teammate Tyrie Orosco. Keshaun Mayfield leads the team with 20 total assists. Robert Morris (6-1) enters the classic coming off an 89-72 loss to No. 9 Evangel (MO), their first loss of the season. The Eagles currently have four players averaging double figures led by Sean Montgomery with 22.4. Courtney Bell adds 10.7 points per game and leads the team in rebounds per game with 8.9. The Eagles currently rank eighth in the NAIA in 3-point field goals made per game with 9.7, and ninth in total blocks with 32. No. 23 Life (5-4) enters the classic coming off a 91-79 loss to the University of Mobile (AL) on Tuesday. The Running Eagles are led by Philip Jenkins who is averaging 16.8 points per game followed by Latraius Mosely with 16.0. Mosely leads the team with 8.3 rebounds per game. Life currently ranks second in the NAIA in total scoring offense with 866 and ranks third in the nation with 13.8 steals per game. St. Catharine (4-2, 1-1 MSC) enters the classic coming of an 83-74 win over MSC opponent Bluefield (VA). The Patriots most recent loss came at the hands of No. 7 Pikeville (KY ) on November 21 where St. Catharine fell 94-93 in overtime. The Patriots have four players averaging double-digit points on the year led by William Tolefree with 16.8. Omar Skinner is averaging 15.5 points per game and leads the team with 6.8 rebounds per game.
