Adair 4-H Ham Auction follows 4-H annual Awards banquet

All hams auctioned are locally produced, with 80% of proceeds divided equally among members selling hams, 10% to support the ham project, and 10% goes to ham scholarship project.

The Adair County 4-H Council is sponsoring the annual 4-H Awards banquet at 6pmCT, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the cafeteria of Adair County Elementary School located at 870 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY.



Following the Awards program will be held holding the 4-H Country Ham Auction. All hams auctioned off have been prepared by local 4-H members as part of the 4-H Country Ham Project.

Proceeds from the auction will be divided as follows: 10 percent goes to support the ham project, 10 percent goes towards the ham scholarship program, and 80 percent will be divided evenly between the 4-H members who sold hams. Anyone wanting to support our youth and bid on one of their hams is welcome to attend the banquet and auction. The ham auction will start around 7:15-7:30pmCT. - Tony Rose
