Let me start this by saying thank you for posting what you do. I think it's great that you have a page that we can discuss things on.

With that being said, let me say that my family and I consider ourselves "avid outdoorsmen." We hunt and we fish.



We eat what we kill. As a matter of fact, due to my daughter killing her first deer over the weekend, I must say we dined very well last night, and our freezer is full.

I honestly do not understand this concept of running to the grocery for meat, when our gracious Saviour has given us an abundantly stocked grocery store.

With that in mind, there are certain things that I will not allow in my house. There is no pork brought into my house as well as other foods that are considered Biblically "unclean."

My real question I guess is what are people going to do in times of crisis? When it all blows up, how are you going to run to the grocery?

And, the animals that are in the grocery for "meat," how are they treated before they actually make it to the store?

Have you ever been inside a chicken house?

Chickens stacked on top of each other, eating the dead baby chickens. It's not a pretty sight, and the smell is unbearable.

I myself would much rather eat a wild "clean" animal, than to put something like that in my mouth, or the mouths of my family.
