Adair Fiscal CT (Nov. 12, 2013): A change at Parks & Rec

Magistrate Billy Dean Coffey (D-5), the Adair Fiscal Court's representative on the Columbia/Adair County Parks & Recreation Board, told the Tuesday, November 12, 2013 regular meeting of court that the Director had resigned and moved that the board approve the appointment of Ricky Roy as Director. Roy will serve on a part time basis, 22 hours per week, at $10 per hour. Ricky Roy succeeds Charlie Crawhorn as Director. Magistrate Coffey's motion got a second from Magistrate Joe Rogers, and a 7-0 unanimous approval, with Magistrates Harold Burton - 1, Daryl Flatt - 2, Sammy Baker - 3, Perry Reeder - 4, and Billy Rowe - 7, joining in the affirmative.
