She was the daughter of the late Rollin and Lucille Blaydes Whitlock. She was a retired cook at North Metcalfe Elementary School. She leaves 11 direct and 2 step living descendants.

Ruby Mae Wilson age 73 of Sulphur Well, KY, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at U of L Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Friday, November 15, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Bowles Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:30pm-8pmT/5:30pm-9pmET, Thursday and after 9amCT/10amET, Friday at the funeral home.



She was the daughter of the late Rollin and Lucille Blaydes Whitlock. She was a retired cook at North Metcalfe Elementary School.

She is survived by the the following:
  • Three children: Garry (wife Pam) Rock of Center, KY; Kevin (wife Penny) Wilson of Glasgow, KY; and Beverly (husband Rick) Whitlock of Mulberry, IN

  • Three grandchildren: Scott (wife Starla) Whitlock of Franklin, IN; Jennifer (Husband Jesse) Suite, Franklin, IN and Brittany (husband Kevin) Bryant of Clarksville, TN

  • Two step grandchildren: Jordon and Andy Piper

  • Five great grandchildren: Kaylyn and Linda Whitlock, Kaedyn and Konner Suite and Rylee Bryant

  • Several nieces and nephews
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Russell and one sister Eleanor Perry.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
