ADAIR Band leaves for Indianapolis Thursday

The ADAIR Band will be leaving out this Thursday to compete at the Bands of America Grand National Championships this week.

There will be 91 bands competing from 19 states. Including Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Illinois, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Wisconsin, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, California, Utah, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan.

This will be ADAIR's 8th time competed at Grand Nationals. They have had two Grand National wins in 2005, and 2007. They have had three runner-up placements in 1990, 2001, and 2003. Then in 1997 and 2010 they received third place finishes.

ADAIR will perform Thursday night, November 14, 2013 at 9pmCT/10pmET. The top 30 bands from both Thursday and Friday will perform in Semi-Finals Saturday. Grand National Champions will be determined and awards given at 5pmET Saturday, November 16, 2013.
