Bargo Brann, Iconoclast: the Election 2014. Russell Co. style Notes dearth of sheriff candidates in Columbia; plethora of same, Russell Bargo Brann writes Ed, I see that only four people have filed for Sheriff in Adair County. Next door in Russell County, no fewer than seven filed on the first day and Short Ways Bus Line has been running daily from Creelsboro to the Casey County line, from Happy Acre to Helm's landing, from Royville to Rowena and from many other points, hauling more candidates to Jimtown to file for the right to tote a hogleg and drive around in a bubblegum machine. Respectfully yrs, BargoThanks, Bargo - CM welcomes your cagy comment. We take it, with a name like Bargo, you are from Esto? Just wondering. Anyway, your letter is as faithful to The County as a Chief Pontiac hood ornament. Thanks. - CM This story was posted on 2013-11-13 06:45:15
