UPLAND, IN - No. 10 Lindsey Wilson men's basketball won on the road Friday, defeating Taylor (IN) University 62-58.

Daronte' Clark totaled 23 points to lead the Blue Raiders (3-1), while Ja'Ln Williams added 13 points and Tony Horne had 12. Horne and Tyrie Orosco had seven rebounds each.

Four Blue Raiders were perfect from the free-throw line, with the team making 17-of-19 free throws total. Williams was 5-5, hitting two key shots late to secure the win. Horne and Clark were both 4-4, while Dusan Pantovic went 2-2.

Lindsey Wilson took control early, leading by as many as six points. Taylor would fight back, but the Trojans' 14-13 lead would be their only one of the half. Lindsey Wilson put together a 5-0 run and held on to go into halftime up 28-26.

Taylor (1-1) was led by Josh Riikonen with 18 points and Ben Raichel with 16.

The second half went back-and-forth with multiple ties. Lindsey Wilson led 58-55 in the final minute when a potential game-tying three-pointer by Taylor was negated by a defensive foul away from the ball was called before the shot. Riikonen missed the front end of a 1-and-1 as Horne grabbed the rebound and was sent to the charity stripe.

Horne made both shots to give Lindsey Wilson a 60-55 lead. A late three-pointer by Taylor's Raichel trimmed the lead to 60-58, but Williams sunk two free throws with 1.3 seconds remaining to seal the win.

The Blue Raiders shot 40 percent from the field, out-rebounded the Trojans 32-25 and held the advantage in steals, 12-5.
