No. 9 Lindsey Wilson Volleyball hosts No. 20 Georgetown It's Dig Pink Night at 7pmCT tonight. Blue Raiders look to remain perfect in Mid-South Conference play By Charles Balcom COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team faces Georgetown (KY) College in the 3rd annual Dig Pink Match at 7pmCT Thursday night, October 31, 2013, at Biggers Sports Center, 367 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. No. 9 Lindsey Wilson (30-2, 15-0 MSC) looks to remain atop the Mid-South Conference standings. The Blue Raiders are coming off just their second loss of the season after falling to No. 1 Texas at Brownsville. Kailey Moorhead leads Lindsey Wilson with 313 kills and 109 blocks on the season. Taylor Hayne adds 299 kills followed by Nadelina Nesheva with 284 and Sarah Anderson with 271. Alexa Just has accounted for 1,073 assists on the year. Maeghan Angel leads with 388 digs followed by Kirsten King with 319. Mattie Tigges adds 91 blocks on the season. No. 20 Georgetown (27-8, 13-2 MSC) is coming off a 3-1 victory over Campbellsville (KY) University Tuesday night. Caraline Maher leads the Tigers with 348 kills and 103 blocks. Maher was recently named the NAIA Player of the Week. Allyson Wilbourn and Rachel Eubanks add 334 and 238 kills. Kristen Schellhaas leads Georgetown with 465 digs. The Blue Raiders and Tigers faced off earlier in the season with Lindsey Wilson winning 3-1 in Georgetown on September 17. Thursday's Dig Pink promotion is a yearly effort to bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer. The volleyball team has been conducting a charity raffle leading up to the match while donations will also be accepted at tonight's game. All proceeds will benefit the Side-Out Foundation, a support and advocacy organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the match to show their support.
