Wonders who idiot driver may kill Comments re photo 52065 Firemen try to remove driver from wreckage after high speed chase Faith wade writes: There was an idiot driving from Greensburg to Hart County at the same time. He scared me to death doing 70 to 80 mph, passing me on a double yellow line on a hill. Made me sick to my stomach to think of who he is going to kill. He was driving a sports car.- Faith wade Thanks, Faith Wade: That's an important message to authorities - from what I hear at country stores, speeding is a major issue and will likely play a role in next year's elections, especially on the city, county, and magisterial levels. Saying that, I personally don't think there are as many idiot drivers on the roads as there used to be when I was young. I think we notice it more because there are fewer bad drivers. And because young people are more responsible now, for the most part. Whether it's good or bad, owning a car and/or getting a driver's license isn't the big deal it was 60 years ago, even as recently as a couple of decades ago. - EW This story was posted on 2013-10-31 04:49:21
