By Charlie Balcom

DAYTON, TN - Yazeed Davids scored a golden goal to lead the No. 3-ranked Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team to a 3-2 double overtime win over Bryan College (TN) Saturday night, October 26, 2013.

Davids found the back of the net in the fifth minute of the second overtime period to push the Blue Raider record on the season to 12-2-2. Bryan falls to 12-3 overall with the loss.

Lindsey Wilson fell behind in the 22nd minute after Bryan's Zach McCown found the back of the net. The 1-0 lead held until halftime for the Lions.

The Blue Raiders found a goal of their own in the 55th minute when Xavier Baumgart found the back of the net on an assist from Albert Edward.

Baumgart scored again in the 63rd minute on an assist from Aleksi Pahkasalo to give the Blue Raiders their first lead of the night.

The Lions would not back down as they found the equalizer in the 89th minute to tie the game at 2-2.

Both teams had their chances in the first overtime period but neither could find the back of the net. The Blue Raiders were given a free kick just outside of the penalty box in the final minute of the first overtime period, but Bryan's goalkeeper Josh Oldroyd made a diving save to keep the match tied.

During the second overtime period, Keletso Mosime fed the ball into the box to Davids who put it away for the game winner in the 105th minute.

Lindsey Wilson outshot Bryan 24-9 and held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks. Lindsey Wilson will play their regular-season finale against Bluefield College, 3000 College Drive (campus address) Bluefield, VA, on November 2, 2013, at 2pmCT.
