ADAIR Band takes 2nd Place in State AAA KMEA Band Contest

UPDATE 10:22 from I-65, 32 miles north of Elizabethtown, KY: The Band will return to a Hero's Welcome, with full Congratulatory Escort, at approximately 12pm noon CT. The route will be: S. on Campbellsville Street, Around the Square and South on Jamestown Street, Across Tutt, South on Burkesville, Across Hudson to Walker, Walker to Greensburg, Street, and back to homebase, The Band Room/Raymond Lacy Music Building, 230 Gen. John Adair Drive, Columbia, KY Adair County High School. Everyone is urge to line the street to welcome them home. - SHAMARIE CLAIBORNE

The ADAIR Band took Second Place in the State AAA KMEA band championship final tonight, at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, and we couldn't be prouder! The kids put on a great show.




Bourbon County of Paris, KY, was No. 1.

Our neighbor Russell County, Russell Springs, KY, was No. 3, and Garrard County High School of Lancaster was No. 4.
