LWC Football moves up one spot to No. 20 in NAIA Top-25 poll Lindsey Wilson at Belhaven University, Jackson, MS. Kickoff 1:30pmCT Saturday, October 26, 2013 at H.T. Newell Field, 900 Riverside Drive, Jackson, MS By Charles Balcom COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson College football team moved up one spot in this week's NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll, officials announced Monday, October 21, 2013. The move from No. 21 to No. 20 comes while the Blue Raiders were on a bye week. Lindsey Wilson remains 5-2 on the season and 1-2 in the Mid-South Conference East Division. The Blue Raiders received 92 voting points from the panel of head coaches that makes up the national raters. The Mid-South Conference has five teams ranked this week. The University of the Cumberlands (Williamsburg, KY), Faulkner (AL) University, Georgetown (KY) College and Reinhardt (GA University also reside in the poll. Cumberlands remains No. 2 in the poll while Georgetown saw the biggest movement. The Tigers dropped six spots from No.11 to No. 17 after falling to Cumberlands 38-35 on Oct. 19. Faulkner moves up four spots from No. 19 to No. 15 while Reinhardt moves up to No. 19. Morningside (Iowa) remains atop the national poll with 288 voting points, including all 13 first-place votes. Cumberlands is No. 2 with 275 voting points followed by Grand View (Iowa) with 267 voting points.
