LWC Basketball/Men picked to finish 3rd in MSC 2013-14 Lindsey Wilson College Men's Basketball hosts Athletes in Action (Xenia, OH). Nicols COLUMBIA, KY - Defending Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament champions Lindsey Wilson men's basketball is picked to finish in third place this season, according to the MSC Preseason Coaches' Poll released on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, by conference officials. The Blue Raiders received one first-place vote and 68 voting points to settle into third place in the preseason coaches' poll. Defending NAIA National Champions Georgetown (KY) College is the favorite to win the MSC as they received six first-place votes and 78 voting points. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams. University of Pikeville (KY) was picked by the coaches to finish in second place after receiving 72 voting points and three first-place votes. Following the Blue Raiders in the poll, picked to finish in fourth place is Campbellsville (KY) University. University of the Cumberlands (Williamsburg, KY) is the coaches' pick to finish fifth, St. Catharine (Ky.) College in sixth place and Shawnee State (Portsmoouth, Ohio) University was picked by the coaches to come in seventh. Cumberland (TN) University, Bluefield (Va.)
