LWC Soccer/Men remain No. 1 in NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll Third straight week Blue Raiders have been No. 1. Campbellsville University is No. 22 Click on headline for complete story By Jay R. Nicols KANSAS CITY, MO - Lindsey Wilson men's soccer maintained its No. 1 ranking in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Tuesday, October 14, 2013. The Blue Raiders (9-1-2) received 18 first-place votes and 589 points to retain the top spot for the third-straight week. Lindsey Wilson played one game last week, a 3-1 victory at Cumberland (TN) University. The next four teams remain the same from last week with Belhaven (Miss.) receiving three first-place votes and 572 points to remain No. 2. Rio Grande (Ohio) stays at No. 3 with 555 points and Oklahoma Wesleyan retains the No. 4 spot with 534 points. Grand View (Iowa) jumped into the top-5 with 506 points, moving up three spots. Concordia (CA) had the largest move in the top-25 as they went from receiving votes to No. 12 with 364 points. Texas at Brownsville took the biggest tumble, falling from No. 8 to No. 24 after a rough week on the pitch. The Mid-South Conference maintains three teams in the top-25 with Campbellsville (KY) staying at No. 22 for the second week in the row. Lindsey Wilson travels to St. Augustine, FL on October 16 to play Flagler (FL) College in non-conference action.
