No. 11 LWC Volleyball hosts Campbellsville U Tuesday night Blue Raiders look to remain perfect in conference play By Charles Balcom COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team faces Mid-South Conference rival Campbellsville (KY) University on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at 6pmCT at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. Lindsey Wilson (23-1, 11-0) enters tonight's match coming off 3-0 sweeps over conference opponents University of Pikeville (KY) and Bluefield College (VA) Friday night. The Blue Raiders offensive attack is led by Nadelina Nesheva with 219 kills on the season. Taylor Hayne sits just behind her with 218 kills, followed by Kailey Moorhead with 212 and Sarah Anderson with 198. Freshman Alexa Just leads the team with 751 assists and 34 service aces on the season. The defensive effort is led by Maeghan Angel with 306 digs. Moorhead leads the team with 78 total blocks followed by Mattie Tigges with 73. Lindsey Wilson ranks third in the NAIA with a hitting percentage of .309 and eighth in blocks per game with 2.51. Campbellsville (15-4, 9-2) enters tonight's match coming off a 3-0 win over Pikeville on Saturday. The Tigers are led by Rinata Aisena with 255 kills and 61 total blocks. Jackie Schwieger leads the team with 552 assists on the season. The Blue Raiders and Tigers faced off earlier this season on Oct. 1 in Campbellsville with Lindsey Wilson winning 3-0.
