ADAIR Band leaving for North Carolina shortly

By Shamarie Claiborne

COLUMBIA, KY (Friday, October 11, 2013) - The ADAIR Band will be leaving today around 2:30pmCT to head to North Carolina for the Western Carolina University Tournament of Champions. They will be competing in a field of 25 bands from KY, TN, GA, NC and SC. North Carolina has a different calculation for band classes so ADAIR will be a AA band this weekend. ADAIR will be performing at 2:30pmET, local North Carolina time.

The top 10 scoring bands from the entire field will be invited back to compete in finals for the Grand Championship. I will try to keep everyone posted as much as I can! Say a prayer for safe travel please and remember the kido's tomorrow. See http://www.wcu.edu/prideofthemountains/pomnew/2013_TOC_Schedule.html for the full schedule. - Shamarie Claiborne
