Adair Retired teachers will have booth at Downtown Days

The Adair County Retired Teachers will host a booth at Downtown Days in Columbia on October 11-12, 2013. Tickets may be purchased at $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 for a chance to win one of the following prizes: 2 UK basketball tickets, 2 seasonal passes to Boy's and Girl's basketball games, 2 seasonal passes to ALL sports at Lindsey Wilson College, basket filled with Fall items or basket filled with Christmas items. Drawing will be at 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Winners are asked to pick up prizes on that day. Special thanks to all retired teachers who made donations to the Fall and Christmas baskets, to Adair County High School Athletic Department, Lindsey Wilson College Athletic Department and private donation for the UK tickets. Proceeds will be used to fund a $500.00 scholarship to an Adair County student attending Lindsey Wilson College pursuing a teaching degree.
