Jail Quarterly Report July 1-September 30, 2013 By Rick Wilson, Adair County Regional Jailer In the jail quarterly report, as of September 30th, 32 people are employed. We have 13 full-time floor deputies. 4 dispatchers, 2 cooks and 13 part-time deputies. Our garden was a hugh success. - We enjoyed great cooperative work from staff and inmates. Chief Cook, Judy Derman estimated we have saved approximately $5,014.39 this year. In 2012 we saved $2,612. No violations second inspection in row - We received an unannounced inspection by the Department of Corrections on September 23rd. and we received no violations of non-compliance for the second inspection in a row. Medical refund almost double - Last year we received a $ 2,907 check from our medical provider because we did not use all of the 25,000 medical cost umbrella coverage.
