LWC Women's Cross Country 21st at Greater Louisville Classic By Pierce Yarberry News from Lindsey Wilson College LOUISVILLE, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished 21st out of 33 teams at the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday at E.P. 'Tom' Sawyer State Park. Due to heavy rain, all power went out four minutes before the end of the women's 5K race. Final times weren't able to be recorded; however officials were able to assign correct finishes. Maria Cozzens led the Blue Raiders as she finished 54th amongst collegiate competition and 67th overall. Allyson Davis was 73rd in collegiate competition and 91st overall, while Kaitlyn Davis placed 111th and 140th overall. Lindsey Wilson finished with 533 total points while Campbellsville, the only other Mid-South Conference team at the meet, earned 648 points for 27th place. Hope (MI) College had three runners in the top-ten to earn the win with 58 points, while Marian (Indianapolis, IN) University also had three runners in the top-ten to come in second with 148 points.
