Paula Faye Cox, age 66, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at her residence in Taylor County.

Services for Mrs. Paula Faye Cox were conducted 11amET, Friday, October 4, 2013 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. Officiating will be Bro. Dickie Rogers and Bill Epperson.


Pallbearers: Mike Lafollette, Tony Dile, Lee Kendall, Steven Coffey, Matt Underwood, Nicholas Thompson, Justin Lafollette and Lanny Morgeson. She was the daughter of the late Lyda Mae Price and Virgil Ray Corbin. She was born June 3, 1947. She died October 1, 2013, in Taylor County, KY, at the age of 66 years, 3 months, and 28 days.

Besides her parents, also preceding her in death were four sisters; Rita Mae Hafley of Lebanon, KY; Juanita Jo Morgeson, Charlene Brockman both of Campbellsville, KY; and Jessie Samuel Gabbert of TN.

Paula was a member of White Ridge Baptist Church, she was a loving mother and grandmother and friend to many.

She is survived by the following:
  • Five daughters and son-in-laws: Shelia and Steven Coffey of Gradyville, KY; Melinda and Mike Lafollette of Hodgenville, KY; Kathy and Tony Dile of Magnolia, KY; Stacy and Lee Kendall of Mt Juliet, TN;, Jeanette and Matt Underwood of LaGrange

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Five great-grandchildren

  • Two brothers: James Michael Corbin of Campbellsville, KY

  • and Lloyd David Gabbert of TN

  • Three sisters: Freda Ray Wash of Nicholasville, KY; and Marlene Bell and Michelle Shaw both of Campbellsville, KY

  • Along with a host of family and friends
