Asbury had visions of evening the match with a quick start in the second set. The Eagles scored six of the first eight points to take their biggest lead of the set.

The two teams battled with neither team managing more than a two-point lead the rest of the set.

Tied at 25-25, Nesheva produced back-to-back kills to give the Blue Raiders the 27-25 win and a 2-0 lead.

In the third set, Lindsey Wilson used an 11-2 run to sprint away from the Eagles en route to a decisive 25-15 win and the sweep.
